Gaming Speeds
For gaming, bandwidth is only part of the equation. Ping time is critical to a good Gaming experience. Ping rate, or latency, is measured in ms (milliseconds). It shows how long it takes data to travel from the Source (your game console) to the Destination (the game server) and back to your console.

XBox One
Minimum Per Device: 6 Mbps

Playstation
Minimum Per Device: 10 Mbps

Nintendo Switch
Minimum Per Device: 6 Mbps

PC Gaming
Minimum Per Device: 10 Mbps
When it comes to ping rates, lower is better… but the rule of thumb is:
- Less than 50 ms is very good
- Less than 100 ms is average
- 150 ms is the threshold at which lag problems start
On average, the latency/ping times on our network are below 30 ms with jitter around 5 ms resulting in great gaming and video chat experiences for our clients.
